Further Cast Announced for Amy Poehler’s “Moxie” Film for Netflix

After directing “Wine Country” earlier in the year for Netflix, it was recently announced that Amy Poehler will return to the streaming service with “Moxie”. The film will star Hadley Robinson (“Little Women”, “I’m Thinking of Ending Things”) and Lauren Tsai (“Legion”) and tells the story of a girl from a small town who is inspired by her mother’s Riot Girl past and starts a feminist revolution at her high school. Tamara Chestna (“After”) has adapted the screenplay based on the book Moxie, by Jennifer Mathieu.

Other cast members that have just been announced are: Marcia Gay Harden, Clark Gregg, Nico Hiraga, Alycia Pascual-Peña, Sydney Park, Anjelika Washington, Josephine Langford, Joshua Darnell Walker, Josie Totah, Sabrina Haskett, Charlie Hall, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Ike Barinholtz.
