Gina Rodriguez (“Jane The Virgin”) will star as Carmen Sandiego in a live-action standalone feature film coming to Netflix as well as voice the character in a 2019 animated series. The live-action movie will be written by Mark Perez (“Game Night”).

This fresh take presents an intimate look into Carmen’s past where viewers will not only follow her escapades but also learn WHO in the world is Carmen Sandiego and WHY she became a super thief.
