Netflix have just released the trailer for the upcoming series “Requiem”. The show is a co-production between BBC and Netflix and will air exclusively on Netflix outside the UK – in the same way as the recent “Collateral”. For those int he UK it’s currently on iPlayer.
The drama series follows Matilda Gray, a successful cellist about to embark on a concert tour of New York. But her world is turned upside when her mother inexplicably commits suicide. Grief stricken, Matilda finds a box of items on her deceased mother’s bed relating to Carys Howell, a young girl who went missing from a small Welsh village over twenty years ago.
“Requiem” arrives on 23rd March (excluding UK) and you can see the trailer below:
Hasn’t this just been shown on the BBC or am I getting ahead of myself?
Well that is a bit pants, my netflix fees are helping for it to be made, but I can’t see it without paying the BBC too. Fabulous.
Technically the non-UK fees are paying for it. The BBC paid for the UK viewers’ share.
BS
I recently watched the boxset on iplayer, I loved it and I need there to be a second series
Wasn’t it good!
I loved every second! I ended up re-watching it with my Mum, who normally doesn’t watch these type of shows and even she loved it.
Just watched and this was really good 🙂
