Latest House of Cards Teaser Explains How Spacey was Removed From the Netflix Original

A short teaser for the upcoming final season of Netflix Original “House of Cards” finally reveals how the writers removed Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood character for the hit show. After allegations of sexual harassment and assault in 2017 Netflix severed ties with the actor who had played the 46th President of the USA for a number of seasons. Now we know how he has been removed thanks to the latest short teaser which you can see below:

He’s dead. It’s as simple as that – something happened in between season 5 and 6 resulting in his demise; a fairly convenient way to remove the actor from the cast. Season 6, the final season, of “House of Cards” arrives on Netflix globally on November 2nd.

  1. I don’t think it would have been possible to recast him. That would have been very odd. However I agree with you that the show will be terrible now without him. I don’t care about the morality of the actor. He is a fantastic actor, so I enjoy seeing him act.
