Netflix thriller/horror series “Locke & Key” is set to return tomorrow but it’s been over 18 months since we last saw the the Locke family. Netflix has very kindly created a season 1 recap for the show to get you up to date for when Season 2 drops tomorrow. You can see the video below along with the trailers and details for season 2.

Last week the streamer released a trailer for a new horror film featuring giant killer lobsters who are fed up of being taken from the sea. “The Splattering” stars Kinsey Locke and is directed by visionary Scot Cavendish… Locke? Oh…! As great as “The Splattering” looks, it was just part of the marketing for season 2. Emilia Jones’ character Kinsey Locke stars in the film as part of the season 2 storyline. After the trailer is shown, the camera pans out and shows the Locke family sat in a movie theatre where things then start to go a bit weird. You can watch the trailer, and season 2 tease, below:

The horror/thriller series is based on the IDW comic book series of the same name and premiered in February last year. Season 2 promises “more keys, more demons, more aloha”. The show has already been renewed for a third season and follows 3 siblings who, after the murder of their father, move to their ancestral home only to find the house has magical keys that give them a vast array of powers and abilities.

After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them.

The Locke siblings are played by Connor Jessup (“American Crime”) as Tyler Locke and British actress Emilia Jones (“Utopia”) as Kinsey Locke and Jackson Robert Scott (“It”), who plays their younger brother Bode Locke. Other cast includes Darby Stanchfield (“Scandal”), Bill Heck (“The Ballad of Buster Scruggs”), Griffin Gluck (“American Vandal”) and more.
