Netflix has announced that “Lost in Space” has been renewed for a third and final season that will air in 2021. Season 2 of the show arrived in December last year and is a dramatic, modern reimagining of the classic 1960’s science fiction series.

Set 30 years in the future, colonisation in space is now a reality, and the Robinson family is among those tested and selected to make a new life for themselves in a better world. But when the new colonists find themselves abruptly torn off course en route to their new home they must forge new alliances and work together to survive in a dangerous alien environment, lightyears from their original destination.
In season 2 there was more danger — and adventure — ahead for the Robinson family! With the Jupiter 2 stranded on a mysterious ocean planet without their beloved Robot, the Robinsons must work together, alongside the mischievous and manipulative Dr. Smith and the always charming Don West, to make it back to the Resolute and reunite with the other colonists. But they quickly find all is not as it seems. A series of incredible new threats and unexpected discoveries emerge as they look for the key to finding Robot and safe passage to Alpha Centauri. They will stop at nothing to keep their family safe… survival is a Robinson specialty after all.
Well, that’s… a little disappointing. But I guess I should be happy that it will at least get a proper, planned ending.
I just can’t get into it. Great cast, great sets… just something missing (I will watch the final season, it’s nice to have closure)
The endless peril will end finally…
Booooooo
Well at least it gets an ending
I didn’t make it beyond the pilot episode. Should I try again?
I really liked it.
Yes
Wish more Netflix series would last longer than 3 seasons. Makes me hesitant to get invested in new series from the start.
Wife likes this. She also liked Another Life, draw your own conclusions.
Becky Farley
Laura Henderson NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOooooooo
Nooo. I’ve really enjoyed watching this with my family. At least there will be a third series!
