Trailer: Drag Race Royalty to Appear in “AJ and The Queen” – RuPaul’s Scripted Comedy Series for Netflix

Drag queen RuPaul, famous for “RuPaul’s Drag Race”, is heading back to Netflix in a new comedy series “AJ and The Queen” which arrives on January 10th, 2020. The 10 x 1 hour episodes are written by Michael Patrick King & RuPaul Charles and will star a whole host of Drag Race royalty including: Valentina, Eureka O’Hara, Monique Heart, Latrice Royale, Trinity “The Tuck” Taylor, Jujubee, Chad Michaels, Bianca del Rio, Mayhem Miller, Vanessa Vanjie and more.

RuPaul stars as Ruby Red, a bigger-than-life but down-on-her-luck drag queen who travels across America from club to club in a rundown 1990’s R/V with her unlikely sidekick AJ, a recently orphaned, tough-talking, scrappy 11-year-old stowaway. As these two misfits, one tall, one small, travel from city to city, Ruby’s message of love and acceptance winds up touching people and changing their lives for the better. Oh, and RuPaul performs a killer musical number in every drag club.
