“Lucifer” has been renewed at Netflix for a 5th and final series. Actor, and titular star of the show, released a video of him cheering a whooping followed by a confirmation of the renewal. Netflix picked up the Warner Bros. series for a fourth season, which was released on May 8th this year, after being dropped by Fox after three seasons. Co-showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich said: “We are so incredibly thankful to Netflix for resurrecting our show last season, and now letting us finish the story of Lucifer on our terms. Most importantly, we want to thank the fans for their incredible passion and support. The best is yet to come!” (TV Line)
Reeling from the aftermath of Chloe seeing his devil face, Lucifer faces a new challenge: Eve, the original sinner herself, is back. Does she want revenge for when he tempted her out of Eden oh so many years ago… or something else entirely?
The series stars Tom Ellis as the titular fallen angel and the Lord of Hell, who works with the LAPD to take down Earth’s criminals.
