Update 8th March: “The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann” is no longer showing in the Netflix Media Center so it is unsure whether or not it will still premiere next week – or even this month at all. We’ll keep you updated with any news.
“The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann”, a true-crime documentary series about Madeleine McCann, is coming soon to Netflix. The case, one of the UK’s most well-known, and controversial, missing persons case will feature interviews with investigators and key people related to the case. Parents Kate and Gerry McCann have both refused to have any involvement the show starring that it is because it’s still an active police investigation. The series will arrive on March 15th – expect a trailer soon.
Edit to add: when this was first announced back in September 2017 it was planned to be an 8-part series. However we’ve been unable to confirm if this is still the case or if it will be a one-off or two-parter. It is also currently unclear if it is a dramatisation (like Bravo’s recent “Dirty John”) or a documentary (like “Making a Murderer” and “Amanda Knox”).
