Updated: Matt Groening’s “Disenchantment” Will Return in 2019, 2020 and 2021

Netflix has announced that their animated Original series “Disenchantment” will return with new episodes in 2019, 2020 and 2021. New episodes of season one will premiere in 2019 and an additional 20 episodes have been ordered and will roll out in 2020 and 2021. That’s 3 more years of Matt Groening goodness!

In Disenchantment, viewers will be whisked away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools.

  1. Watched the first 3 and gave up. Didn’t rate it, personally. There were a couple of moments which made me smile, but it wasn’t up to the standard of The (original) Simpsons or Futurama, and I didn’t really take a liking to any of the characters.
