Michael Bay and Ryan Reynolds Head to Netflix for New Movie

Skydance Media has today announced that together with Netflix they will co-produce and release their upcoming feature film “Six Underground”. The movie will be directed by Michael Bay (Transformers) and star Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and will be the first time either Bay or Reynolds have worked with Netflix. “Six Underground” is an Original idea written and executive produced by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick who have both worked on the two Deadpool films.

Skydance Media have produced a number of movies including the upcoming “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” as well as having already worked with Netflix on “Grace and Frankie” and the recent “Altered Carbon”. Production will start this Summer with worldwide release on Netflix in 2019.
