Renowned horror director Mike Flanagan has stated on Twitter that there are currently no plans for any more “The Haunting of…” series. The two-part anthology launched with “The Haunting of Hill House” in 2018 and followed up with “The Haunting of Bly Manor” earlier this year. While some cast members were featured in both series, the two shows were unrelated.
Flanagan stated “At the moment there are no plans for more chapters. Never say never, of course, but right now we are focused on a full slate of other Intrepid Pictures projects for 2021 and beyond. If things change we will absolutely let everyone know!”
Production recently wrapped on Flanagan’s upcoming Netflix series “Midnight Mass“ after a few Covid-19 related delays. The upcoming horror series stars “The Haunting of…” alumni Kate Siegel and tells the story of a community that experiences miraculous events and frightening omens after a mysterious priest’s arrival.
