Netflix has announced more cast for their upcoming series “Bridgerton” which will arrive in 2020. The legendary Julie Andrews has previously been announced as Lady Whistledown – the mysterious, sharp-tongued gossip writer whose mix of social commentary and scathing insults drive the characters wild on Shondaland’s upcoming series based on the beloved Bridgerton novels. Julia Quinn’s best-selling series of novels are a smart feminist take on Regency England romance that unveil the glittering, wealthy, sexual, painful, funny and sometimes lonely lives of the women and men in London’s high society marriage mart as told through the eyes of the powerful Bridgerton family.
