More Original Sci-Fi Heading to Netflix with “Life Sentence” Movie from Matt Reeves

After a reportedly intense bidding war, Netflix have acquired the rights to “Life Sentence” – a new movie from “War for The Planet of The Apes” director Matt Reeves. The movie will be based on a short story by Matthew Baker about a future where authorities choose to wipe the memories of criminals instead of having them imprisoned.

Netflix were chosen over the likes of Apple and Gaumont as they were wanting a TV series but Reeves wanted a movie.

  1. I avoided Mute due to you haha. They’ve made some crappy stuff recently (Bright also) but when they do it right it can be awesome (Wheelman and Whatever Happened To Monday) maybe this will be one of the better ones.
