Murder for TV Ratings! See the True Story of Brazilian TV Show Turned Murderer in “Killer Ratings”

Netflix has just released the trailer for an upcoming docuseries, “Killer Ratings”, about a Brazilian TV host who literally murdered to get his TV ratings up. Wallace Souza hosted the TV show ‘Canal Livre’ from 1989 through to 2009 – a show that used investigative journalism to fight crime and often had camera crews following police during raids. The popularity of the show resulted in him getting into politics as well. In 2009, however, Souza was arrested after accusations were made that he ordered a number of murders just to get better ratings on the TV show… “Killer Ratings” arrives on May 31st, only on Netflix.

Killer Ratings: A series about a TV celebrity, murder, political power, and a criminal empire. It tells the true-life story of a Brazilian TV host who who was accused of literally killing for ratings and using his show to cover up the truth.
