There’s even more Adam Sandler heading to Netflix with the upcoming Netflix Original movie “Murder Mystery” and it has just started production in Montreal. The film stars Adam Sandler (“The Meyerowitz Stories”) and Jennifer Aniston (“Horrible Bosses”) alongside Luke Evans (“The Alienist”) and was written by James Vanderbilt (“White House Down”).
When a NYC cop (Sandler) finally takes his wife (Aniston) on a long promised European trip, a chance meeting on the flight with a mysterious man (Evans) gets them invited to an intimate family gathering on the Super Yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince. When Quince is murdered, they become the prime suspects in a modern day whodunit.
The movie will also be filmed on location around Europe and will feature a global cast including: Gemma Arterton (“Their Finest”), Luis Gerardo Mendez (“Club de Cuervos”), Shioli Kutsuna (“Deadpool 2”), David Walliams (“Little Britain”), Adeel Akhtar (“The Big Sick”), John Kani (“Black Panther”), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (“True Detective”), with César Award winner Dany Boon (“R.A.I.D. Special Unit”), and Academy Award nominee Terence Stamp (“Miss Peregrine’s”).
Netflix will release the film worldwide in 2019.
