Last year Netflix bought the rights to Steven Soderbergh’s sports-themed film “High Flying Bird” and now we have both a trailer and the release date. The film, released globally on February 8th, is a drama is set during a pro-basketball lockout and follows a sports agent who pitches a controversial business proposition to a rookie client. The film reunites Soderbergh with “The Knick” star Andre Holland, who also reunites on the movie with Oscar-winning “Moonlight” writer Tarell Alvin McCraney.
The film stars André Holland, Zazie Beetz, Melvin Gregg, Sonja Sohn, Zachary Quinto, Kyle MacLachlan, Bill Duke.
