Netflix has announced their first African Original series “Queen Sono” with South African star Pearl Thusi in the titular role. The action-packed series follows Queen Sono who is a highly trained spy. While taking on her most dangerous mission yet, she must also face changing relationships in her personal life. The series will begin production in 2019.
