Netflix Announces “A Whisker Away” – New Anime Film About Love, Magic, and Cats

Netflix has announced a new anime film from Sailor Moon director Junichi Satoh. “A Whisker Away” will launch globally on June 18th and is a story about love, magic and cats. The film follows a bright and energetic girl called Miyo who has a crush on her classmate Kento. Try as she might, she just can’t get his attention so she does what any normal school girl would do: she turns herself into a cat. As you do. However, at some point, the boundary between herself and the cat becomes ambiguous, and she is forced to give up her life as a human…
