Netflix Announces Four New French Originals: Three Documentaries and a Film

Netflix has announced further expansion into its European Originals with 3 new documentaries and a film being made in France. The Originals are scheduled to be released from 2020 and details are as follows:

Move (working title)
A documentary series looking at six different dancers from different background. The series will look at the dancers’ personal histories as well as their chaotic career paths.

Gims (working title)
This documentary feature follows French rapper Gims as he heads out to America to support his album “Centure Noire” before ending up in his home country of Marrakech. The documentary has been filmed over a year with behind-the-scenes emphasis.

Anelka (working title)
Nicolas Anelka is the controversial former soccer child prodigy and is the subject of this documentary. The feature will cover “his childhood, faith, his experience at the Real Madrid, his troubled history with the French coaches, his banning from the World Cup in South Africa, among other things.”

Of Earth And Blood
This action-packed film follows a man and his daughter who hire ex-cons and young offenders at their sawmill. Things go awry when one of the employees bring back trouble and a cartel come knocking…
