Netflix Announces “Paranormal” – New Egyptian Mystery/Suspense Series

Netflix has ordered their third Arabic Original series – this time in the form of “Paranormal” based on the books by the late author Ahmed Khaled Tawfik, that have sold more than 15 million copies. Khaled Tawfik was the first contemporary writer of horror and science fiction in the Arab world. The series is set in Egypt in the 1960s and packed with mystery and suspense, depicts the adventures of the leading character Dr. Refaat Ismail, a single haematologist who finds himself faced with a series of supernatural events.
