Netflix at The Emmys – Full List of 2018 Award Winners

After receiving a whopping 112 Emmy Award nominations for their Original programming, and making them the new rulers of television, Netflix have walked away with 23 winners from this year’s awards (16 at the Creatives last week and 7 last night) – tying them with HBO who also received 23. Nominations included “The Crown”, “Stranger Things”, “GLOW”, “Ozark”, “Queer Eye”, “Black Mirror”, and “Grace and Frankie”. So, which shows and which actors walked away with a brand new Emmy for their mantlepiece this year? Let’s have a look:

  • Regina King, “Seven Seconds” – Outstanding lead actress in a limited series or TV movie
  • Merritt Wever, “Godless” – Outstanding supporting actress in a limited series or movie
  • Jeff Daniels, “Godless” – Outstanding supporting actor in a limited series or movie
  • Claire Foy, “The Crown” – Outstanding lead actress in a drama series
  • William Bridges and Charlie Brooker “USS Callister” episode of “Black Mirror” – Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series, Movie or Drama
  • Stephen Daldry, “Paterfamilias,” The Crown – Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series
  • John Mulaney, “John Mulaney: Kid Gorgeous At Radio City” – Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special

There was an award for a show that is Netflix Originals in many parts of the world:

  • “RuPaul’s Drag Race” – Outstanding reality/competition series
