Netflix Bringing a Series of Short Comedy Specials to Their Streaming Service

Stand-Up Comedy Specials are a huge part of Netflix with lots of new shows being added each month. While many comedy fans will be familiar with some of the bigger names like Patton Oswalt, Jim Jefferies, Katherine Ryan and Bill Burr there are many relatively smaller/unknown comedians with Netflix specials.

With a view of helping introduce viewers to new talent, Netflix are recording sixteen comedians doing 15 minute sets to be released in groups throughout the year. Some of the comedians involved include Michelle Buteau, Sam Jay, Josh Johnson, Max Silvestri, Jak Knight, and Emma Willmann. 15 minutes is about what you would get in a comedy club so should be a good opportunity for the comedians to try pull in new fans without viewers having to commit to a full, hour-long Special.

We’ll post any further information as it arrives!
