Netflix Cancels Insatiable – No Third Series for “Body-Shaming” Revenge Comedy

Netflix has cancelled their controversial revenge-comedy series “Insatiable” after 2 seasons. The series premiered in Summer 2018 and starred Debby Ryan (“Sing It!”, “Jessie”) as a vengeful, bullied teen out to exact her revenge via the beauty pageants her tormentors frequent. The show came under fire after it was released as being full of body shaming and unhealthy depictions of weight loss. Season 2 premiered in October 2019.

Were you a fan of the series? If so, what are your thoughts on the cancellation? Let us know in the comments!
