Netflix Comedy Series “Bonding” Has Been Renewed for Second Season

Netflix has officially renewed their heartfelt and hilarious comedy series “Bonding” for a second season. The series premiered in April 2019 and stars Brendan Scannell (“Heathers”), Zoe Levin (“Red Band Society”) and D’Arcy Carden (“The Good Place”). The show follows what happens when a gay man reconnects with his former BFF only to discover she’s now one of New York City’s top dominatrixes – the answer? Lots of “Bonding”!

Bonding centers on the relationship between former high-school BFFs, Pete, a recently out gay man, and Tiff, a grad student and secretly one of New York City’s top dominatrixes, who reconnect in an unexpected way years later. The dark comedy is loosely based on the life experiences of Rightor Doyle (Barry, You’re the Worst, Nerve), who serves as writer, director, showrunner, and executive producer.
