Netflix recently snapped up the Chinese blockbuster sci-fi film “The Wandering Earth” which exceeded half a billion dollars in its first 10 days after being released in cinemas in China, North America, Australia and New Zealand. The Mandarin film is based on the novella of the same title by Liu Cixin, the first Asian novelist to win the Hugo Award for Science Fiction. The film will arrive on Netflix, in selected regions, on May 6th (April 30th in the UK).
“The Wandering Earth” tells the story of a close future in which the sun is about to expand into a red giant and devour the Earth, prompting mankind to make an audacious attempt to save planet. The multi-generational heroes build ten-thousand stellar engines in an effort to propel Planet Earth out the solar system, in the hope of finding a new celestial home. During the 2,500 year-long journey, a group of daring heroes emerge to defend human civilization from unexpected dangers and new enemies, and to ensure the survival of humanity in this age of the wandering Earth.

Is it dubbed ?

Looking forward to this one
I’ll be watching this 1, looks amazing
need more Asian cinema on Netflix, it’s just more adventurous than Hollywood and western cinema in general
Looks good , only be watching it if it’s dubbed
Looks amazing; have a feeling that it may not be amazing (Hollywood isn’t the only place where trailers are epic and films turn out to be a little naff).
But will definitely try to watch this. Hopefully it’ll either be well dubbed or have subtitles.
