Netflix Drops New Trailer for Z-Nation Spin-Off “Black Summer” – Coming April

Netflix has released the shocking new trailer for the upcomig zombie-fueled Original series “Black Summer”. The 8-episode series is a prequel spin-off from SyFy’s “Z-Nation” and is created by Karl Schaefer and John Hyams who created the original series. The show stars Jaime King and launches on April 11th.

Set in the dark, early days of a zombie apocalypse, BLACK SUMMER stars Jaime King as Rose, a mother torn from her daughter who embarks upon a harrowing journey to find her. Thrust alongside a small group of American refugees, these complete strangers must find the strength they need to fight their way back to loved ones. But in order for Rose and her team to brave this hostile new world, they will need to make brutal decisions to contend with zombies – and each other.

  1. Reckon I’ll pass on that. Tried to get into Z-Nation but just couldn’t. I love zombie stuff, from the 80s movies to TWD and FTWD, and video games as well… but something about that series just didn’t work.

  2. I expect nothing less of this than the same stellar production value, writing and acting which Z-Nation Gave us. I was so gutted to hear it was cancelled, so this is good news! Hope there is returning cast
