After my little moan earlier this week about unknown American stand-up specials on Netflix I’m pleased to announce that they have just commissioned a new special from Russell Howard (made famous in shows like “Mock The Week” and his own show “Russell Howard’s Good News”) which was recorded over the weekend. The show marks the start of his new world tour and was filmed in Brighton, UK. The Netflix special will be available later this year.

Fay Singleton you’re welcome xxx
Alex
They have jimmy Carr as a special already
1 UK comedian. Just 1! (until this, which makes it 2)
The title is still correct. After loads of Americans, they’re finally bring a British one. Never said it was the first 😉
“Finally” wld suggest the first
I know. I was just trying to worm out of forgetting about the Jimmy Carr one (which is actually very good)
Is he funny
Can’t stand the guy.
It’s OK – you don’t have to watch it.
I know, but that doesn’t mean I can’t voice an opinion.
I was just voicing my opinion too 😉
I have to say I enjoy the US specials too. We’ve discovered some great comedians that way!
I agree. Some have been very good. Others I’ve turned off after 20min
I’m not reading the article, fingers crossed it’s not that unfunny prick
They have Katherine Ryan. OK, not British but she’s always based here. Very funny too.
I saw him on this tour earlier this year. Very funny, but I’ve seen it now. About time there were more UK/Irish comedians on Netflix.
