Netflix Halts Production of The Witcher and Stranger Things Due to Coronavirus Fears

Production of Netflix series “The Witcher” has been halted in the UK due to ongoing concerns about the coronavirus Covid-19. The series is is shot at Arborfield Studios to the west of London. Other series being filmed in North America and Canada, including “Stranger Things”, have also halted production today. Production of the shows is expected to be held back for a minimum of two weeks although, obviously, Netflix will need to abide by any emergency laws put in place that might limit large gatherings of people. Netflix are currently working on “The Witcher” season 2 and “Stranger Things” season 4.
