Netflix Launches Book Club with OITNB Star Uzo Aduba

Uzo Aduba, star of Netflix Original “Orange Is The New Black”, has been announced as the host of a brand new Book Club for Netflix. As you probably already know, many Netflix films and series are based on books including “Orange Is The New Black”, “Bridgerton”, “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” and “The Queen’s Gambit” as well the recently added “Maid”.

The aim of the Netflix Book Club is to delve deeper into the art of bringing the pages to the screen with a regular ‘spotlight’ title. The first is for the upcoming “Passing” – a new film based on the novel by Nella Larsen. The film arrives on Netflix on November 10th and, shortly after, the first episode of “But Have you Read the Book?” will be released where Uzo sits down with Rebecca Hall, Ruth Negga and AndrĂ© Holland to discuss bringing the page to screen.
