Netflix have today announced a new kids’ animated series, “Dino Girl Gauko”. Set in Japan the Netflix Original Series is about a typical tween, Naoko Watanabe, who possesses a strange gift and curse – when angered she turns into Gauko the fire breathing dragon girl. An episode of Dino Girl Gauko called “Dad’s Little Secret” will screen in competition at the 2019 Annecy International Animation Film Festival (more info here). Season 1 of “Dino Girl Gauko” is expected to launch on Netflix in late 2019.
