Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan are teaming up to create a new limited series for Netflix based on the notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” will co-star Richard Jenkins with Carl Franklin (“Mindhunter”) directing and Janet Mock (“Pose”) writing and directing. Rather than sensationalise the horrific murders during the 1980s and the series will tell the story through the eyes of the victims as well as delving into how he escaped arrest and suspicion so many times. Production is expected to begin in early 2021.
Dahmer murdered and dismembered 17 men and boys from 1978-1991, many of them persons of colour and some underage. Most of the murders also involved necrophilia, cannibalism and the preservation of body parts. Convicted of 16 murders, he was beaten to death by another inmate in 1994, two years into his sentence. He was 34.

Let’s hope they don’t once again blame the parents simply because they chose to divorce. Dahmer was born a killer. His life could have been perfect but he would have still been a freak and a serial killer. They are born this way.
