Netflix Original “The Keepers” – New Calls for Baltimore Files

The recent Netflix Original documentary series, “The Keepers“, has prompted fresh calls for information from the Baltimore Archdiocese. The series explores the idea that Cathy Cesnik, a nun, was murdered in 1969 because she knew about abuse by priest A. Joseph Maskell. An online petition has garnered over 12,000 signatures so far from people who want files to be made public “in an effort to throughly investigate all avenues that may have led to the murder of Cathy Cesnik”. The archdiocese are currently refusing on the grounds of confidentiality and that it would be a breach of State Law.

Have you seen “The Keepers”? What are your thoughts on public pressure to release confidential files?
