Doctor-turned-comedian Ken Jeong (“Community”, “Crazy Rich Asians”) recorded his first comedy special for Netflix back in September 2018 with Jon M. Chu (“Crazy Rich Asians”) directing the show. It was recorded at the Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, California, where Jeong first got his start in comedy. In the show, titled “Ken Jeong: Yo Complete Me, Ho”, Jeong reflects on how he went from being a doctor to a comedy superstar, and will open up about how his wife’s battle with breast cancer led to him starring in one of the biggest comedy franchises of all time, “The Hangover”. The special arrives on Netflix globally on February 14th and you can watch the trailer below.
