Season 1, episode 35 of “Maya The Bee” has been removed from Netflix after a number of parents complained about a phallic image in the children’s programme.
“I know I’m not going crazy and I know that something like this shouldn’t be in a kids’ show whatsoever.
“I’m extremely disgusted by it, there should be no reason my kids have to see something like this.”
Inside a log there’s what clearly looks like a penis which you can see in the lightened image below (from Snopes):
The series, made in 2013, has been on Netflix since April 2015 so it’s taken quite a number of years for it to be noticed – personally I have more of an issue with Maya frequently shouting ‘Willi’, the name of her friend. Utter filth!
Someone cocked that up
OH, BEE-HAVE!
Wow, that’s really unfortunate or a really bad judgement call. Glad Netflix removed the episode.
Roger Hardwick was this down to you??
Remember the little mermaid cover? It’s not rude it’s distasteful.
Am I the only one that couldn’t see a bloody thing god people can complain about the stupidest of things … by the way if you remove a tone of letters and rearrange the remaining in this comment you can make a ton of rude words better ban me from facebook
One idiot person complained so it was removed. I will bear that in mind if something pisses me off
