Season 2 of Netflix and Channel 4’s co-production “The End of The F***ing World” will arrive on Netflix in the UK on November 4th – exactly 1 years since its launch on E4. The series will include new character Bonnie, played by Naomi Ackie (“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”), an outsider with a troubled past and a mysterious connection to Alyssa.
Based on the award-winning series of comic books by Charles Forsman, THE END OF THE F***ING WORLD invites viewers into the dark and confusing lives of teen outsiders James (Alex Lawther – Black Mirror, The Imitation Game) and Alyssa (Jessica Barden – The Lobster, Ellen, Penny Dreadful) as they embark on a road trip to find Alyssa’s father, who left home when she was a child.
Worth watching. Slightly confused plot and goes over some of the same territory as series 1, but go… https://t.co/JvhEcDZ6VB
The first season of this is, quite frankly, fucking fantastic. Hoping for something just as good from S2.
Mark Casey It’s been on All4 for nearly a year, if you can put up with the adverts.
I’m in Ireland and Season 2 has been on Netflix for quite some time now. Was it blocked off from the UK?
Eoin Flaherty It’s a Channel 4 / Netflix co-production. After season 1 got a lot of good publicity because it was on Netflix and branded as a Netflix Original a Channel 4 exec got snotty saying that people need to know it’s a Channel 4 show and said that UK Netflix would have to wait a year before it could show it. Just to make sure that people knew it was a Channel 4 show…..
