Netflix’s film and review podcast “The Big Film Buffet” has returned for a second season with two new episodes every week. Every Thursday the Australian team of film buff Alexei Toliopoulos and new host stand-up comedian Gen Fricker bring a ‘Main Course’ where they help listeners solve that weekend ‘what to watch’ dilemma by offering up a satisfying film recommendation. This week’s episode covers the juicy docu-drama “Operation Varsity Blues” with next week’s (March 24th) being the outrageous comedy “Bad Trip”.
On a Tuesday is the new, shorter 10-15 minute ‘Snack’ to whet your appetite, where the hosts talk about something film or pop culture that they’re obsessed – cinematic obsessions, Easter eggs, and rabbit holes… such as why did Barbra Streisand clone her dog… twice?

Season 1 of the podcast ran from October to December 2020 and covered films such as “Hubie Halloween”, “The Trial of the Chicago 7”, “Mank” and “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”. Season 2 will run for 20 weeks.
