In February 2020 Netflix launched their dating show “Love Is Blind” that aims to prove the titular phrase. The show, hosted by Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo-Lachey, takes singles who want to be loved for who they are and not what they look like get put into their own private ‘pod’ and can communicate with the other players – without ever seeing them. Relationships can be made and built up before they finally get to meet each other and get engaged. Season 2 of the show will arrive on February 11th – just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Once they are back in the real world the couples then have to plan their wedding day while dealing with the common obstacles like trying to please families and deciding whether they really should be together… We expect a similar release schedule with new episodes added over a three week period.
The initial series was released over three weeks and then followed up by a reunion special (the series was filmed around 9 months prior to airing) as well as a three-part ‘After the Altar’ special set of episodes where we got to catch up on the happy, and not-so-happy, couples.
You can see a short teaser below and expect the full trailer in the coming weeks.
