A new thriller series with a fantasy twist has started filming in Spain this week. Netflix Original “Feria” (translated as ‘Fair’ or ‘Carnaval’) is described as “a fantastic thriller set in a small white village in the Andalusian mountains in the mid-1990s, where its residents are not as innocent as they seem.”
The series is set in Andalusia in the 1990s and follows two teenage sisters who discover that their parents are monsters who have been accused of killing 23 people. Their parents have disappeared and the sisters, Eva (Ana Tomeno) and Sofia (Carla Campra), will have to face the horrible crime that their parents seem to have committed. The sisters are hated by the the rest of their town and while trying to work out what happened they discover a sect, grunge music, some fantastic creatures, the Andalusia’s sun and a mine that looks like a labyrinth…
