Netflix’s YOU Has Been Renewed for a Third Season – coming 2021

Netflix has renewed their thriller series “YOU” for a third season with 10-episode series will arrive in 2021. The series follows the obsessive Joe Goldberg as he stalks a bookstore owner using technology. The first season was based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novel of the same name and the recent season two is based on the sequel novel “Hidden Bodies”. Season two follows Joe as he makes the move to Hollywood to build a new life for himself as he again searches for love.

According to Deadline the co-creators Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti will return as executive producers for season 3 and the stars of the show, Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti, have been confirmed to reprise their roles. You can see the trailer for season 2.

YOU, a Netflix Original Series, is the riveting and hypnotic story of Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), an obsessive yet brilliant New Yorker, who exploits today’s technology to win the heart of Beck (Elizabeth Lail) amid the growing suspicions of her best friend Peach (Shay Mitchell). Joe transforms himself from stalker to boyfriend while doing whatever it takes to eliminate all obstacles standing in his way — even if it means murder. Set in today’s 24/7 hyper-connected world, YOU explores how vulnerable we all are to stalking and manipulation online and in real life.

  1. I’m waiting on the third book.
Both seasons of You were so different from the books that I enjoyed watching them because (especially in the second season) I didn’t know what would happen.
