New Trailer for George R.R. Martin’s “Nightflyers” – Coming Soon to Netflix

In 1980 “Game of Thrones” author released a novella called “Nightflyers”, a supernatural, sci-fi thriller. Now, in 2018, it is being brought back to life by SyFy with Netflix co-producing. Similar to the deal with “Star Trek: Discovery”, Netflix will have first streaming rights outside of America and it is likely that it will be shown weekly on Netflix. While there is no firm release date, it is believed to be launching on SyFy in Autumn (Fall) 2018.

The Nightflyer is a ship with a small crew on the outer reaches of the solar system – it’s mission is to contact alien life. From the mind of George R. R. Martin, Nightflyers is a psychological thriller, set in deep space on the eve of Earth’s destruction. A crew of explorers journey on the most advanced ship in the galaxy, The Nightflyer, and work to intercept a mysterious alien spacecraft that might hold the key to the planet’s survival. As the crew nears their destination however, they discover that mysterious forces and even their own minds are working against them. You can now see the full trailer below:
