Netflix has released the trailer for their latest Stephen King adaptation “In The Tall Grass” – which is based on the novella he co-wrote with his son Joe Hill. The film is about a brother and sister travelling through Kansas who hear a small boy’s cry for help in a field of grass. They enter the field and soon realise the grass is a dark, and terrifying world of it’s own… “In The Tall Grass” arrives globally on October 4th and you can see the trailer below.
The script was written by Vincenzo Natali (“Cube”, “Westworld”) and the film stars Golden Globe and Emmy nominee Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring franchise, Aquaman, Fargo (TV)), Laysla De Oliveira (Needle In a Timestack, Code 8), Harrison Gilbertson (Upgrade, Picnic at Hanging Rock), Avery Whitted (Sidney Hall), Rachel Wilson (Backstabbers for Beginners, Impulse), Will Buie Jr. (Bunk’d (TV))
When siblings Becky and Cal hear the cries of a young boy lost within a field of tall grass, they venture in to rescue him, only to become ensnared themselves by a sinister force that quickly disorients and separates them. Cut off from the world and unable to escape the field’s tightening grip, they soon discover that the only thing worse than getting lost is being found. Based on the novella by Stephen King and Joe Hill.
