NSFW: Learn the History of Swear Words on New Netflix Comedy-Documentary Series

Netflix are wanting you to begin the new year with an education in expletives with their new comedic docu-series “History of Swear Words”. The show, which arrives on January 5th, is hosted by Nicolas Cage and is described as ‘a loud and proudly profane series that explores the origins, pop culture-usage, science and cultural impact of curse words’.

Each episode of the series uses interviews with experts in etymology, pop culture, historians and entertainers to delve into the origins of “F**k”, “Sh*t”, “B*tch”, “D**k”, “Pu**y”, and “Damn”. You can see the trailer below but, as the title may suggest, it contains swears and probably isn’t safe for work…
