Paramount Pictures, part of the Viacom Group, has announced a multi-film deal with Netflix as a way to expand their role as a global content supplier as well as explore new revenue streams. Paramount have previously produced content for Netflix with “Maniac” and “13 Reasons Why” and also sold Netflix the exclusive rights to “The Cloverfield Paradox”. Jim Gianopulos, Paramount’s CEO, has not gone into any details as to how many films will be released with Netflix.
