Netflix has announced that Richard Armitage (“The Hobbit” franchise) will star as Adam Price in “The Stranger” based on the novel by Harlan Coben. Coben entered into a deal with Netflix last year to bring a number of his novels to Netflix in the form of both English-language and foreign-language series as well as films. “The Stranger” is a suspenseful, 8-episode series about a devastating secret that not only threatens to destroy Adam’s family but also end their lives.
