Adult Swim have finally renewed the contract for adult-animation “Rick and Morty” – for a whopping 70 episodes! Exactly how this will play out is yet to be seen but it’s highly unlikely that season 4 will be made up of 70 x 25 minute episodes. It could mean either 7 more 10-episode seasons or, here’s a different idea, 70 short, 5 minute episodes of mini-adventures? I’m sure we’ll find out over time. Likewise, we’ll find out over time if it will be classed as a Netflix Original outside of America with episodes being added weekly.
