Netflix has announced the cast for an upcoming dance-themed comedy film “Work It” which has now started production in Toronto. The film follows Quinn Ackerman as she tries to get into the college of her dreams but the application depends on her performance at a dance competition. She then forms a ragtag group of dancers to take on the best squad in school…now she just needs to learn how to dance!
The cast includes Sabrina Carpenter (“Tall Girl”, “The Hate U Give”), Liza Koshy (“Liza on Demand”), Keiynan Lonsdale (“The Flash”, “Love Simon”), Drew Ray Tanner (“Riverdale”) with Michelle Buteau (“Always Be My Maybe”) and Jordan Fisher (“RENT Live!”).
