See Dominic West and Elizabeth Debicki as Charles and Diana in Season 5 of The Crown

Netflix has given us our first look at Charles and Diana in Season 5 of “The Crown”. Every two seasons the main cast changes to show the Royal Family as they age and this time we have Imelda Staunton (“A Confession”, “Psychoville”) as The Queen; Jonathan Pryce (“The Two Popes”, “Tomorrow Never Dies”) as Prince Philip; Elizabeth Debicki (“The Great Gatsby”, “Widows”) as Princess Diana; Dominic West (“The Wire”, “”Chicago”) as Prince Charles; and Jonny Lee Miller (“Trainspotting”, “Elementary”) who will play Prime Minister John Major.

Now we have our first images of Prince Charles and Princess Diana as well as Queen Elizabeth II which you can see below. We don’t yet have a release date for season 5 but if we had to guess then we would say late 2022. Season 1 and 2 were released late 2016 and 2017 respectively before a 2 year gap. Seasons 3 and 4 were released late 2019 and 2020 respectively so assuming the same 2 year gap would take us to late 2022.
