See Henry Cavill as Geralt in Netflix’s “The Witcher” – Coming 2019

Netflix has released a short video giving the world their first glimpse of Geralt of Rivia, played by Henry Cavill, from the upcoming Original series “The Witcher”. It also states that the series will be released in 2019 which is an improvement on the previously rumoured date of 2020. In the short video we see Geralt walk up to the camera from the dark and take a drink. Terribly exciting stuff, right? Decide for yourself as we’ve included the video below:

Based on the best-selling fantasy series, “The Witcher” is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together. The 8-episode series is expected to air in 2019 and is being filmed in and around Poland.

    1. Yeah it’s not bad, abit of a beard and a scar or 2 would finish it off but they might be going for a younger version, I think it’s basing a lot of it on the books which I didn’t read
