See Sandra Bullock in New Drama “The Unforgivable” – Coming Soon to Theatres and Netflix

The trailer for a new Netflix drama “The Unforgivable” has just been released. The film will have a limited theatrical run from November 24th and come to Netflix on December 10th. The drama stars Sandra Bullock (“Bird Box”, “Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman”) as Ruth who, after being released from prison for a violent crime, re-enters a society that refuses to forgive her past. Her only hope for redemption is finding the estranged younger sister she was forced to leave behind.

If that synopsis sounds familiar then you wouldn’t be mistaken. The new Netflix film is based on the 2009 ITV mini-series “Unforgiven” which starred Suranne Jones as Ruth. The new trailer, however, makes it clear that the remake is not set in Halifax, West Yorkshire… The ITV series was written by Sally Wainwright and is available to buy on Amazon (affiliate link).

The new film also stars Viola Davis, Rob Morgan, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Aisling Franciosi, and more and you can see the trailer below.
